TEZEX Bridge is a non-custodial cross-chain swap crypto bridge for Tezos that works based on atomic swaps within a double-sided marketplace. Near primary, TEZEX Bridge command allows exchanges to/of the Ethereum blockchain (ERC-20 tokens) to the Tezos blockchain (FA-1.2, FA-2.0) cross-chain swap crypto.
The first pairing Cross-chain crypto available is USD Coin (USDC) to USDtez (USDtz). More different pairings will be added additional time, including USDT to USDtz, ETH to ETHtz, and WBTC to BTCtz). There is no boundary to the quantity and kinds of token pairings combined with TEZEX Bridge.
The site will be https://bridge.tezex.io.
So how does it work?
There are three sections to TEZEX Bridge:
- The smart-contracts (on Tezos, Ethereum, plus more extra to grow)
- The visible front-end interface (UI) (at bridge.tezex.io)
- The Changemakers (who run changemaker bots)
The graphic below illustrates how the swap system runs from signature to signature.
Who or What are Changemakers?
Changemakers are the ones that give the support that enables each decentralized marketplace that is TEZEX Bridge. For TEZEX, Bridge is a developed marketplace. Changemakers catch the index tokens they previously have for others to swap among them (though enough, the changemaker is ready to implement). Changemakers seem not to store those tokens; TEZEX Bridge is a non-custodial Cross-chain swap. Changemakers have those tokens in their wallet as
register till it's the opportunity to swap.
How to change maker
Changemakers required three pieces to begin change-making
- Connectable wallets for Ethereum and Tezos tokens. Samples incorporate Metamask concerning Ethereum, one of these wallets for Tezos (including Thanos, Beacon/Spire, Galleon desktop, and Kukai).
- Token inventory for cross-chain swap crypto of any amount the changemaker desires (such as USDC on the Ethereum side and USDtz on the Tezos side). The changemaker should also hold a few ETH and XTZ for material transaction expenses (these expenses are entirely reimbursed by the fee funds obtained during each Cross-chain swap is finished).
- Changemaker bot connected and operating on the changemaker's preferred device.
Unlike the cross-chain crypto scale conditions required. Simultaneously, supplying liquidity to an AMM exchange (similar Uniswap or Dexter), the token inventory that the TEZEX. Changemaker holds in their wallets must not be symmetric (not 50/50 of individually), neither provides the changemaker needed to maintain both sides. Likewise, if a changemaker chooses to hold USDC inventory or merely hold USDtz stock, a bit, ETH, and a few XTZ are required in each wallet to expedite the Cross-chain swap achievement. These values are entirely repaid by the client fees (Expenses and Revenues under).
Changemakers join the TEZEX Bridge network by running a Changemaker bot. that streamlines just outbound signatures to fix up and settle Cross-chain swap. This self-regulation is more agreeable for clients and the changemakers; in this process, the changemakers don't have to confirm every transaction manually.
The changemaker bot can be worked on a variety of things, including:
- Personal computer
- Local node
- Virtual node
- Hardware Service Module (HSM)
Costs & Revenues
A commercial plan is a vital part of the method and a financial motivator for changemakers. To offset extra charges of time, energy, and capital commitment, changemakers collect fee interest in 2 ways:
- Gas consideration (compensation and surplus)
- At those times, Ethereum gas prices for transactions are high and likely to extreme variations from block-to-block. The clients pay entirely for the changemaker's gas cost by way of compensation decreased from their final transaction cost. The price to be reduced is based on an oracle reading of the previous block + a cushion in intermittent gas fluctuations. In most cases, there will be a surplus beyond the cost of gas from the transaction, which the changemaker pockets.
Basis point (bps) rewards
- Fifteen basis points (0.15%) on any transaction are half the value of transactions on Dexter and Uniswap.
This system changemaker can continue working with results above the line (only positive returns, not harmful).
The smart-contract represents the customer's Cross-chain swap request and sets the client with the first changemaker on the web with the token-capital (inventory) ready to complete the swap the customer wants to make.
Who can be a Changemaker?
Although change-making can be an excellent opportunity
for Tezos bakers and StableTez minters, it is not required. In addition to
running a bot, all that's necessary is capital (for trade) in both correlated
wallets.
Permission is not required to grow a TEZEX Bridge
changemaker, although if you are involved in getting any help in fixing up as a
changemaker, you can sign up

About TEZEX and TEZEX Bridge
Tezos Exchange (TEZEX) is a decentralized liquidity
exchange on Tezos applied to allowing interchain and intrachain transactions
of DeFi tokens to help the Tezos DeFi ecosystem.
TEZEX Bridge allows decentralized cross-chain
transactions within Tezos blockchain and other blockchains, debuting with
Ethereum blockchain.

About StableTech (Tezos Stable Technologies, Ltd.)
Added members receive the projects as mentioned above in
the Tezos DeFi ecosystem, including Wealthchain, Inc., Cryptonomic, Inc., and
TokenSoft, Inc. These organizations, as well as their respective labor and
means contributions are coordinated by a consortium identified as Tezos Stable
Technologies, Ltd. ('StableTech').
StableTech addresses three important matters of infrastructure for Tezos DeFi:
- Assets (Stablecoins) stabletez.com
- Trading (Liquidity exchange — cross-chain crypto)
- tezex.io
- tezos.finance

About Tezos Stablecoin Foundation
Tezos Stablecoin Foundation (TSF)is a non-profit and
non-shareholder institution assisting the goal of developing DeFi on Tezos.
TSF's efforts to fulfill its end aim in a few steps:
It makes the primordial components of Tezos DeFi
technologies to provide the infrastructural uses and conveniences of a
larger Tezos DeFi ecosystem and cross-chain swap crypto. This is done through its aforementioned StableTech's coordinated independent entities execute operative arm, StableTech.
We provide grant opportunities to Tezos developers and business people seeking assistance and sources to innovate the Tezos DeFi ecosystem through self-governing initiatives.
